Watch: Lewis Hamilton Brother Nicolas Hamilton Going Cloud 9 After Watching Mercedes Star Outclassing Max Verstappen

Nicolas Hamilton, the younger brother of F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton, has brought pride to the Hamilton clan with his impressive performance at the BTCC event. Lewis couldn’t be more thrilled for his brother, whose performance he watched live.

The 31-year-old managed to claim the best finish of his career in the British Touring Car Championship when he crossed the finish line in sixth position. Hitting this career milestone meant a lot to the younger Hamilton, especially in the presence of his championship brother.

As revealed by the Silver Arrows ace earlier, he was in Donington to witness his brother make history on a rainy day in the United Kingdom. Taking to Instagram, the Mercedes star wrote as he was ecstatic about the result, “I’m so incredibly proud of you bro.”

This result is special for both the brothers and the Hamilton family as a whole because the BTCC driver managed to do all the hard work despite being physically challenged. The 31-year-old has cerebral palsy, which makes him race in a specially modified car.

Lewis Hamilton advocated for positivity despite tough times

Time hasn’t been kind to Hamilton off late. What was supposed to be yet another shot at the title, has been reduced to being just a repeat of the 2022 F1 season. However, he still hasn’t given up as seen in his recent social media stories.

The Mercedes maestro has recently taken to his social media to share a positive message with his 32 million followers. Starting off his week on a productive note, he wished the same for those around him.

He then urged his fans to start off with the right attitude and speak it into existence. Hamilton then talked about sending positivity and concluded with, “Let’s f go!!!”

Can Hamilton finally break the curse?

Despite being a seven-time world champion, the highly celebrated Formula One driver has endured a winless streak for 505 consecutive days. It’s been one and a half years since he last tasted victory on the podium in Saudi Arabia, and the feeling remains elusive.

This unfortunate statistic is a significant one, as it surpasses Max Verstappen’s record of 502 days without a win. Additionally, he had a rough last season, unable to secure a victory throughout the entire year. This was a personal record for him, having never experienced a winless season since his debut in 2007.

As things stand, Lewis Hamilton is now hungrier than ever. With the news of Mercedes’ improvement, James Allison’s return to his old post, and Hamilton’s own positivity, it’ll be interesting to see how everything falls back into place at the upcoming Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
