As per the latest developments, Lewis Hamilton is tipped for a move away from Mercedes. The Silver Arrows star is rumored to be moving to Ferrari for $50 million. This brings us to the question, is Hamilton leaving Mercedes? The answer is no.
The rumour of him leaving Brackley is entirely false. Moreover, the Silver Arrows ace is reportedly on the way to sign 1+1 year deal with the German team.
The Formula 1 world is recently hot on Hamilton‘s transfer rumors. While the Mercedes star is still trying to solidify his stay at the current team, there are new rumors of him joining rivals for a staggering amount of money.
Since the beginning of the season, there have been constant rumors surrounding the Briton and his stay in the Silver Arrows. The rumors gained traction after the Brackley brigade failed to provide him with a championship-worthy car for the second season in a row.
Admittedly, Hamilton’s contract with the German team expires at the end of this season. With time running out for the team and suspicion increasing, is he on the verge of joining the Italian team?
Ferrari allegedly lure Lewis Hamilton with money
As per the latest reports by Daily Mail, and its Mail Sport, the former McLaren star is tipped for a move towards Maranello on £40 million [$50 million] paycheck.
It also reported that Ferrari president John Elkann is in “close contact” with the British driver and is preparing a huge deal to bring the world champion to Maranello in 2024.

But in reality, there is no concrete report that says the 38-year-old is sure to leave the team with whom he spent more than a decade and won six of his seven world titles. Furthermore, the report received heavy backlash from the fans.
Moreover, the reports also didn’t reveal if the Prancing Horse is ready to part ways with either Charles Leclerc or Carlos Sainz and instead offer the seven-time world champion a mega deal.
Money will not be a factor for Hamilton
The Sky Sports expert believes the Stevenage-born driver will focus more on his championship-winning chances rather than extra money in the years to come.
Given he’s on the verge of being the greatest driver of all time with one more title, hence, Lewis Hamilton will have more focus on a championship-worthy car at the moment.
Talking about this, Lazenby told Express Sport, “I don’t think that it’s the money that motivates him. I think it’s the success and I think he will remain so long as he feels that he’s in the best position to get that eighth World Championship.”
