"I've seen a lot in India"- Mick Schumacher on favourite place he visited

“I’ve seen a lot in India”- Mick Schumacher names two South Asian nations and Australia when asked about his travel interests.

Mick Schumacher obviously being a star involved in a sport like Formula 1 would have seen the world, and definitely, a hard choice to pick a favourite amidst different and incomparable landscapes and culture.

When Schumacher was asked by Formula 1.com about the best place, he has travelled to so far. The German names India and Australia, while wishes to visit Sri Lanka.

“You can say the grass is always greener, but I like where I am! I’ve seen a lot in India driving the MRF Challenge there, and I’ve been to Australia several times too and liked that. The people are different in those countries, and you learn a lot as a person,” he said.

His father had a huge fan following in India when Michael Schumacher competed for Mercedes in 2012 during the Indian Grand Prix he was overwhelmed by the unprecedented love he received.

“What I take from India is the emotional fan following. It’s been surprisingly high. It’s beautiful to see I am loved so much. So many people share the passion for the sport I love,” Michael Schumacher said back then. It won’t be surprising if his son receives the same admiration.

Want to visit Sri Lanka

While the junior Schumacher loved India, he also wants to explore Sri Lanka, bordering at India’s South. He claims that the people are different in two nations, despite geographical proximity, and that different is only what he wants to observe.

“Sri Lanka would be quite interesting to see. It’s a bit different from India, so I want to see how different it is. Also Costa Rica – I love nature, snakes, frogs and stuff like that, although I’m not a fan of spiders, to be honest!”
