Lewis Hamilton and his dog Roscoe’s relationship is very well publicized and it is known that they are inseparable. He got Roscoe in 2013, and that was the same year he adopted another dog, whom he called Coco. Roscoe and Coco were regular features in appearances made by Hamilton in public and were true partners in crime.
Sadly, Coco passed away in 2020, before Hamilton won his seventh F1 world championship. A heartbroken Hamilton could only watch on as his beloved companion breathed her last, following a heart attack at his residence. Hamilton tried his best to revive her, but his efforts were in vain.

It has been three years since Coco passed away, but Hamilton hasn’t forgotten about her. On his Instagram account, the 38-year-old posted a picture of himself with Coco in the stories. The caption read:
“There’s not a second that goes by I don’t miss you, Coco.”
Hamilton followed the picture of himself with Coco with another one that included only her. Following Coco’s passing away, Hamilton has been spending a lot more time with Roscoe, who has become a regular sighting in F1 races.
Lewis Hamilton on spending a happy last day with Coco
Hamilton announced the death of his beloved Coco on his Instagram account, a day after she passed. Talking about her last moments, Hamilton revealed that Coco was happier than he had ever seen her before. Hamilton added that they spent a lot of time together playing games on their last day.

Adding a heartbreaking note, a reminiscent Hamilton wrote on his Instagram post:
“I will miss her snoring and how happy she was always to see me. She was only 6, healthy, and happy. Naturally, my heart is broken but I hope she’s in a better place”
Coco was born with several health problems
Lewis Hamilton adopted Coco from the same breeder from whom he got Roscoe. The breeder, however, told Hamilton that she had several problems at birth, which meant she couldn’t live up to a very old age. He even told the Mercedes driver that she should be put down at a young age, because affording all the things she would need was practically impossible.
Nevertheless, Hamilton revealed how Coco went through a lot to become the little bundle of joy she turned out to be. Three years have passed, but Hamilton and Roscoe still miss Coco every single day.
