“Looking forward to working with Stroll, Vettel, Hulkenberg” – James Bond stunt driver Jessica Hawkins appointed Aston Martin F1 team’s driver ambassador
“Looking forward to working with Stroll, Vettel, Hulkenberg” – Jessica Hawkins will continue to compete in W Series alongside her new role in the Aston Martin Cognizant F1 team.
Aston Martin and James Bond go a long way, and their ‘bond’ has been strengthened further with the appointment of the movie franchise’s stunt driver Jessica Hawkins as the driver ambassador of the F1 team.
Alongside her aforementioned roles, Hawkins will continue to compete in W Series, the women’s F3 championship. She had done so in the inaugural 2019 edition, finishing a respectable P11 overall. She expressed her delight at joining the F1 team with an official statement on the team’s website.
“I’m incredibly excited to be joining Aston Martin Cognizant Formula 1 Team as its new driver ambassador and really looking forward to working with Lance Stroll, Sebastian Vettel, Nico Hulkenberg and the rest of the team.
“In fact, although it will surely be a hell of a lot of hard work, it’s a dream come true for me. Besides, I’m definitely not afraid of hard work.

“I also want to pay tribute and say thank you to W Series, which is a brilliant championship without which I would simply never have got this unbelievable chance to work within such a great Formula 1 team.
“I will continue to race in W Series this year and despite my super-exciting new position with Aston Martin, I will remain fully focused on driving my heart out in an effort to score as many points in the 2021 W Series championship as I possibly can.”
