Max Verstappen ‘Traumatized’ After His Friend Mocks Red Bull Star for His Iconic 2012 ‘Inchident’ with Charles Leclerc
Max Verstappen has recently been enjoying himself over the past few days by playing simulator racing with his friends. While playing, one of Verstappen’s friends hilariously recalled the infamous 2012 karting ‘inchident’ between the Dutchman and Charles Leclerc that got both drivers disqualified.
As seen in the video below, when Verstappen asks his friends, “What the hell happened there,” one of his friends hilariously mocks him by using Leclerc’s iconic quote, “Nothing. Just an ‘Inchident‘”. This quote from the Red Bull driver‘s friends sends everyone on the video barring the Dutchman bursting into laughter.

Along similar lines, fans such as Pam wondered why this stream was ‘so Lestappen’. Lestappen is the word that F1 fans have famously given to describe the bond between Leclerc and Verstappen.

Leclerc says he will never forget the 2012 karting ‘inchident’ with Verstappen
In an interview with Ziggo Sport last year, Charles Leclerc explained why the infamous 2012 karting ‘inchident’ with Max Verstappen will live in his mind forever. When asked to explain what took place in that instance, the Monegasque replied,
“I will remember it all my life. It was a double right-hander at Val d’Argenton. I look at him & go like this. He was watching me. We touched a little bit. He took the wet white line and went straight. And there was a huge puddle…and he ended up in that puddle. He was really wet”.
WSK 2012 karting incident marked the beginning of an iconic rivalry
Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc’s karting incident from 2012 was an iconic moment as it laid the foundation of one of F1’s biggest rivalries today. This incident took place in the second round of the WSK Euro Series.
Following the collision, Verstappen blamed Leclerc entirely for it by referring to what the Monegasque did as ‘unfair. He said that Leclerc pushed him off the track multiple times and that the current Ferrari driver violated the rules on multiple occasions. On the other hand, Leclerc iconically referred to this moment as ‘just an inchident‘.
