Max Verstappen’s girlfriend Kelly Piquet goes in-depth talking about the start of their relationship. After hearing the statement, Formula One twitter fans had quite a mixed reaction to the discussions.

Kelly Piquet, daughter of legendary Formula One driver Nelson Piquet gave an interview on Dutch Vogue. She spoke about the involvement of women in motorsports and also spoke about her boyfriend Max Verstappen.

Max Verstappen lives a private life with his girlfriend who often accompanies him to the garage in the race. Two spectacular years of world championships followed year after year.

Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet’s relationship

Kelly Piquet spoke about how Max Verstappen and her got to know each other. They do have an age difference as the Brazilian is 9 years older than the two times world champion.

Moreover, she was previously in a relationship with Daniil Kvyat, and have a daughter together. Piquet recalls, while she was with the Russian driver, she met Verstappen who was just 16 years old in 2016.

According to her, there was a spark in the first meeting itself. Since then, they have been connected with one another and eventually made their relationship public in 2021.
