Leclerc and Sainz have a poor start to their F1 2023 season

After the conclusion of the first three races, it is fair to say that Ferrari have been way off the pace as compared to reigning Constructors Champions Red Bull. The Prancing Horse are currently placed fourth in the championship with just 26 points.

They are 30 points behind third-placed Mercedes and already a whopping 97 points behind leaders Red Bull. Sainz has scored 20 of the 26 points for the team thanks to his fourth and sixth-place finish in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia respectively.

However, for Leclerc, the start of the 2023 season has been nothing short of a disaster. The Monegasque has just scored six points and has already suffered from two DNFs. Consequently of these results, he is placed tenth in the championship alongside the Haas of Nico Hulkenberg.

After a poor start to the new season, both Ferrari drivers will hope to produce a comeback in Baku. The Azerbaijan Grand Prix will take place later this week from April 28 to 30.
