“What on earth Valtteri Bottas has done”: Alfa Romeo star’s partner desisted seeing him in Aussie haircut
Alfa Romeo driver Valtteri Bottas came up with a brand new hairstyle ahead of the 2023 season as he spent his winter break in Australia with his girlfriend.
Spending time in the down under must have given the Finnish driver the idea to sport a mullet and give himself a complete makeover.
While it was received positively by his fans online and everyone was shocked to see Bottas’ unidentifiable look, it had a much bigger impact on his girlfriend, Tiffany Cromwell, who is an Australian Cyclist.
Speaking at In the Fast Lane podcast, Australian GP boss Andrew Westacott revealed that when Bottas came in front of his girlfriend, she reacted, “What on earth Valtteri has done.”
Valtteri Bottas is impressed by his teammate
Bottas was joined by Zhou Guanyu in the 2022 season at the Swiss-based team and the Chinese driver made a lasting impact on Bottas.
Zhou scored 6 points in his first season in F1 with his best result coming at the Canadian GP where he finished in eighth place.
His Finnish teammate agreed that Zhou surprised many through his first F1 season and made no mistakes in his rookie season.
Bottas praised Zhou’s way of approaching the racing in F1 and said that he has given himself time to progress step by step both in the qualifying pace and then in the race pace.
Furthermore, Zhou’s technical knowledge is also getting better and he’s getting more confident in choosing the right set-up for him.

Bottas opines on Alfa Romeo’s transition period
Alfa Romeo is set to join forces with Audi in 2026 as a manufacturer. A lot of shuffling is awaited by the team as it is headed into the 2023 season.
Bottas has explained his outlook on the current situation that the Swiss team is in. He said that in the two seasons in which the team is now non-branded, Audi should still try and show support somehow.
While Audi’s involvement in the sport is still far away, it is exciting for the team.
