Frank Lampard: Chelsea offer three-year contract to Lampard to be the Blue manager after Maurizio Sarri leaves Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are speculated to sign Frank Lampard from Derby to replace outgoing manager, Maurizio Sarri, who has decided to leave for Juventus job from the next season.

Thus, in recent advancements, according to a report by the ESPN, as per Calciomercato, Chelsea have offered a three-year deal to Lampard in order to take the managerial role at his previous club.

The former Chelsea legend is reportedly very near to accept the job with the Blues and set to return at the Stamford Bridge ahead of the following season.

Chelsea’s hierarchy was impressed with Lampard’s successful stint with Derby, and considering they had a dispute with Sarri, Lampard seemed as a viable option amidst transfer ban.

However, several experts and fans are criticizing the move, as they believe that the former English International need to grow as a manager before taking a risky job at Chelsea, Since, he is in the initial years of his managerial career.

On the other side, Chelsea were lined with other managers but transfer ban on Chelsea have warded off several candidates from the offer.

Thus, keeping Lampard as the only possibility to take the Blues further. Additionally, Lampard has also been brave enough to give regular chances to young players, thus, it could have influenced Chelsea board, as he can seek quality from the academy amidst transfer crises.

For now, Chelsea are yet to finish their manager saga as they have not made any announcement regarding it as of now.
