Everyone’s pretty excited about the upcoming Starfield, which is also Bethesda’s first IP (intellectual property) in 25 years. Announced way back in 2018, the project faced multiple delays, but now it’s all set to debut in a few months. Recently, some fresh images have surfaced on the internet, teasing the title’s gameplay and more ahead of its release.
The hype Bethesda’s title has created over the years is so crazy that it stole the spotlight at the recently held Xbox Games Showcase 2023. In fact, somewhere deep, Microsoft already predicted the same and decided to dedicate the title to a Direct event of its own. Hence, Starfield Direct turned out to be an absolute success, unearthing almost everything about the game.
From the official gameplay reveal to every significant detail, Starfield Direct’s fantastic presentation answered many of the fans’ queries. However, regardless of every piece of information dropped, it still won’t be enough for the fans until they play the game on their own. So, let’s dive deeper into what the latest leaks of the title’s gameplay hint at.
Starfield gameplay leaked images have major revelations
A Reddit user named ‘u/Neosss1995’ unveiled two images in the Subreddit ‘r/GamingLeaksAndRumours‘. Claiming both images are of Starfield, the Redditor also mentioned their source; a Discord community named ‘IdleSloth84’. Apparently, both images appear to be some sort of screenshot taken straight from Starfield’s gameplay. Check out the early leaked images mentioned below.
The above image teases a weapon with some metrics related to the player’s space suit. The firearm seen in the image appears to share the same build structure as the popular assault rifle AK-47. Moreover, as for the space suit, we can see some data related to the suit’s thermal, mass, and oxygen consumption.
This picture doesn’t disclose much information. However, it does hint at some kind of skill that players could earn or purchase within the title. Thus, here it showcases an ability called “Targeting skill” that ultimately enhances the protagonist’s accuracy and range while firing in a crouch position.
Should we rely upon these leaked images?
Though these pictures appear to be Starfield’s gameplay screenshots, their origin is still unknown. Hence, it’s advisable to take these with a grain of salt until the developers, Bethesda Softworks, drop some confirmation.
