Who needs an E3 when we all have the mind-blowing Xbox Games Showcase 2023, right? Many of those who watched this well-presented gaming event must have thought about this at least once.

Xbox Showcase turned out to be an absolute success, presenting to us a plethora of announcements, new trailers, gameplay footage, and many more planned for 2023 and even next year. In fact, many of us can’t even wait to try out a few of the upcoming games and DLC unveiled at the event.

A new trailer for Starfield

Though Xbox disclosed almost everything on this highly awaited title at its own 45-minute long direct event ‘Starfield Direct’, it didn’t stop the gaming giant from addressing it in Showcase as well. Hence, fans witnessed the title’s new trailer ahead of its Direct event.

The 2-minute trailer features a narration with a pinch of humor by none other than the popular comedian Richard Ayoade. As showcased in this stunning trailer, Flight Simulator 2024 will feature missions such as Aeriel Firefighting, Search and Rescue, Helicopter Cargo Transport, Air Ambulance, and a lot more to explore. The title indeed seems very promising and will arrive in 2024 on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Game Pass. Moreover, thopter from the popular movie, Dune will soon be introduced in the current Flight Simulator as part of a crossover on November 3rd.

We got a first look at “Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth,” which is a sequel to 2020 ‘Yakuza: Like a Dragon’. The 2-minute-long trailer showcases Ichiban all nude washed up on a beach in Hawaii, with nearby people having their lives’ best laugh. The Canadian game developer Compulsion Games announced ‘South of Midnight’ for the very first time through this brand new trailer. Apparently, it showcases a spooky land with a mysterious ghost-like figure playing a guide who’s called ‘Shaking Bones’. It’s a third-person action-adventure that takes place in a magical world. Set for its release on Xbox Series X|S, Game Pass, and PC, the developers have yet to announce its release date.

Announced back in 2016, Payday 3 has finally received a release date of September 21st, 2023. The new gameplay trailer hints at players getting everything they need to pull off a successful heist. Sea of Thieves: The Legend of Monkey Island announcement trailer

Monkey Island characters are all set to arrive in the Sea of Thieves in this latest crossover, launching on July 20th. The trailer gives us a look at classic Money Island characters in 3D. Hence, we can assume how fun and chaotic it’ll get once this crossover goes live. The Sea of Thieves is available to play on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows.

Phil Spencer, Xbox CEO, surprised the fans by unveiling a newer version of the Xbox Series S with a whopping 1 TB of storage. This next-gen console comes in a matte black finish color same as the Series X, with a launch date of September 1st. However, fans can book it today, as it’s already available for pre-order with a price tag of $349. Further, Spencer expressed this model as an upgrade for all who thought the 512 GB of storage wasn’t enough.
