The Best Carrack .300 Class Loadout in Warzone 2
Think of the Carrack .300 as the little brother of the Signal 50 Sniper Rifle. Its semi-automatic nature is a great advantage for its TTK. The Signal 50 has been in the meta for quite a well and if you build the Carrack well, it will follow suit. In June, Activision banned the use of One Shot Snipers in Ranked, which gave rise to Signal 50 users.
That phase of the game is still alive and well, which means the Carrack .300 will be another semi-automatic monster utilized by the community at Ranked Play. But to take advantage of its quickness and TTK, you will need to equip it with attachments that boost its stats. But first, let us take a look at how you can unlock this weapon.
How to Unlock the Carrack .300 in Warzone 2
For those familiar with the Season 5 Battle Pass of Warzone 2, unlocking this weapon would be easy. To unlock the Carrack .300 you will need to advance the Battle Pass and complete Sector E7. That is where you will unlock this weapon. There are no challenges for this weapon yet because it is a new weapon.
Alternatively, if you cannot reach that stage in the Battle Pass, you can unlock it by grinding the DMZ Mode after the Season ends.
Attachments Breakdown
Once you acquire the weapon you can start grinding with it for several attachments. Although if you have most Snipers upgraded, there are chances you will have most of these attachments at hand. Let us break them down.
- Ammunition: .300 High Velocity
- Rear Grip: TV Nought Grip
- Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
- Barrel: Heavy-TAC 300
- Muzzle: Bruen Agent 90
If you are familiar with the WA 2000, this gun is similar but is much faster, stronger, and better than its counterpart. It works just like the Signal 50 but it is just a tad bit weaker. To increase its firepower, we will need to put the .300 High-Velocity Ammunition on it just to increase its Bullet Velocity.
Follow that up with the TV Nought Grip for the recoil control. The reason why we need recoil control on this weapon is because it is a semi-automatic weapon and those tend to kick up a lot when firing. The VLK LZR 7MW is the most used Laser for Sniper Rifles due to its versatility. It provides stat boosts ADS Speed, sprint to fire speed, and aiming stability, much required in a semi-automatic Sniper Rifle.
For the last two attachments, we will use the Heavy-TAC 300 Barrel. The Heavy-TAC 300 Barrel is responsible for increasing the weapon’s recoil control, damage range, bullet velocity, and hip-fire accuracy. We are mainly utilizing this attachment for the first three stat boosts. Now, the last attachment can be switched around for an Optic of your choice if you’d like but we feel it is better if you invested it in a Muzzle.
The Muzzle in question is the Bruen Agent 90. It provides sound suppression to keep you off the map, more bullet velocity and damage range, and some recoil smoothness to help with long-range gunfights. Now that we have all the attachments, let us take a look at what you will equip as a secondary.
Secondary, Perks and Equipment
An ordinary pistol won’t do well, in the long run, to protect you from attackers or the people who rush you. That is why, we recommend running an SMG to do well in close-range encounters without throwing away your life. The best ones in the current meta are ISO 45 and the Vel 46. Although you can choose whichever ones depending on your convenience.
That being said, let us take a look at the best perk setup you can rock with this loadout in the game.
- Base Perk 1: Double Time
- Base Perk 2: Overkill
- Bonus Perk: Fast Hands
- Ultimate Perk: High Alert/ Ghost
- Lethal: Drill Charge
- Tactical Equipment: Smoke Grenade
We go with the Double Time and Overkill combo which is the standard for any Sniper loadout. Double Time will effectively increase your tactical sprint duration and crouch movement speed as well. Overkill is necessary to rock two primaries in one loadout so that you can have your custom SMG with your along with the Carrack .300.
Fast Hands will ensure that you can switch to your SMGs or Sniper fast enough to get the kill. You will also use equipment and reload faster. Finish off the perk setup with either High Alert or Ghost. This will be a completely personal preference. If you want to stay in the shadows, go with Ghost and if you want to be aggressive, go with High Alert.
Drill Charges are going to help you infiltrate different buildings and kill corner campers. Pair that up with the Smoke Grenade for a quick escape and to provide cover when you are reviving your teammates.
Why You Should Use This Loadout
With the bullet velocity attachments and the SMG, this loadout will treat you right in both short and long ranges. In addition, the perk setup ensures you can play whatever style you want, whether defensive or aggressive. On top of that, the lethal and tactical equipment will help you carry out your flanks and rushes with perfection.
