The Tempus Razorback is currently one of the best ARs in the game. Due to the sudden burst in popularity, we will look at the best class loadout for the Tempus Razorback in Warzone 2.

The most popular Assault Rifles in the game currently are the ISO Hemlock, the Kastov 762, the TAQ-56, and the Tempus Razorback. However, none of these are pure meta weapons. That category is under the dominance of SMGs, semi-automatic Snipers, and Battle Rifles. Still, Fans are hoping for changes in the coming updates.

However, for now, we are going to take a look at the Tempus Razorback, which people are calling the “No Recoil” gun in the game. With this loadout, you will see how stable this weapon can be and how it can practically outmaneuver any other AR. Without further ado, let us get into it.

The Best Tempus Razorback Loadout in Warzone 2

The Tempus Razorback is quite a recent addition to Warzone 2. However, it hasn’t been used as much. It is a good weapon with a fast fire rate for an AR, good damage numbers, and almost zero recoil with the right attachments. Still, people are not gravitating towards it because there are better options that do higher numbers.

However, this loadout is meant to make its strengths shine and negate all its weaknesses. To make a loadout that outshines other weapons, we will need the best attachments. But first, let us see how you can unlock the weapon.

How to Unlock the Tempus Razorback

Previously, players could unlock the Tempus Razorback through the Warzone 2 Season 4 Battle Pass. However, to unlock it currently, you will need to get 35 Operator Kills while being Mounted. Although that can be a tall task, the DMZ mode is here to help.

You can hop onto the DMZ mode and exfil with the weapon to unlock it for use in the Battle Royale mode. It is quite easy and the most preferred way for beginners to unlock their favorite weapons.

Attachment Breakdown

Once you have the weapon, you will need good attachments to ensure it functions well. Unlocking the attachments can take a while since you will need to progress other weapons as well for certain ones. That being said, let us take a look at what we are working with.

  • Optic: Your Preference
  • Magazine: 60-Round Mag
  • Underbarrel: DM-Proto Grip
  • Muzzle: Cronen OP44
  • Barrel: 18” TACK-2L

Any Optic would be a huge help since it decreases the visual recoil by a mile and also gives a clear Line of Sight toward the enemies. You will track enemies better with an Optic. However, we recommend a small Optic like the Aim OP-V4 or the Cronen Mini Pro rather than a magnified one.

We will also equip a 60-Round Mag for better ammo management. Since we will use this weapon to shoot without interruption for longer ranges, it is important to have lots of ammo so you can finish off enemies without reloading. In addition, it will help you in close-range combat since you can face multiple enemies.

The DM-Proto Grip is the most popular Underbarrel attachment for the Tempus Razorback since it offers a variety of benefits. The attachment boosts recoil stabilization, aiming idle stability and horizontal recoil control. This lets you stay on target without any effort at all.

For more control, we will equip the Cronen OP44 Muzzle. This muzzle will give us more horizontal and vertical recoil control. The combination of the Underbarrel and the Muzzle makes this weapon a “No Recoil” weapon which you can shoot for the longest of ranges without any kickbacks.

We will finish off the loadout with the 18” TACK-2L Barrel. It increases the weapon’s damage range, bullet velocity, hip-fire accuracy, and movement speed. It rounds out the Tempus Razorback quite nicely, as it needed some extra TTK.

Secondary

Because the Tempus Razorback excels in medium to long-range gunfights, we are going to need a weapon that is fast and designed for close-range engagements. For that purpose, there is no better choice than the Lachmann Sub or the ISO 45.

Now, you can choose either, as players have their personal preference between the two, but for this particular build, we feel the ISO 45 would be better suited. Let us look at the attachments for the same.

  • Optic: Slimline Pro
  • Stock: Demo Fade Tac
  • Magazine: 45-Round Drum
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
  • Barrel: 7″ EX Raptor-V2

Since this SMG does not need a damage boost due to its high fire rate, we have built it up for maximum mobility and stability. The extended magazine will help for better ammo management while the Optic is to control visual recoil. Rest are speed-enhancing attachments. This loadout is best suited for close-quarters combat.

Perks and Equipment

  • Base Perk 1: Tracker
  • Base Perk 2: Overkill
  • Bonus Perk: Spotter
  • Ultimate Perk: High Alert
  • Lethal: Drill Charge
  • Tactical: Smoke Grenade

We start off with Tracker because it will help you flank enemies and get the jump on them, as this perk lets you track enemy footsteps. Follow that up with Overkill since you will need the ISO 45 with you. For the Bonus Perk, we will use Spotter.

Spotter lets you see enemy equipment, field upgrades, and killstreaks through walls. This can help you avoid enemy traps where you can easily get killed. You can also highlight the equipment for your teammates by ADSing with this perk.

For the Ultimate Perk, we will use High Alert for increased survivability. Your vision will pulse every time an enemy outside your LoS will spot you. For the lethal, we recommend going with a Drill Charge to flush out enemies. A tactical like a Smoke Grenade is always a good choice.

Why You Should Use This Loadout

The Tempus Razorback has no recoil with this loadout. In addition, ISO 45 will close the gap in close-range engagements. It will help you combat enemies in tighter spaces that might not be as kind to the Razorback. The perk setup is built for maximum survivability, and the equipment is balanced on both offense and defense.
