The CS:GO BLAST Spring Groups are well underway and a behemoth inches closer to elimination. Heroic faced a shock defeat at the hands of EG, cementing their spot in the lower bracket. Astralis too lost their opening game against Vitality, despite a strong showing by Device. Now, both teams are staring down the barrel of the knockout stage, with one being relegated to the bottom.

Heroic vs. Astralis kicks off today at 18:30 CET and the stakes are extremely high. The #1 team in the world, Heroic, will go up against their Danish counterparts who have just undergone a massive rebuild. The latter has brought back Device and a brand new team member in Buzz in the hopes of contending for championships.
On the other hand, Heroic is reeling from a disastrous final tournament in 2022. The BLAST World Final saw Heroic play with a stand-in but crash out in the group stage. Now, Heroic is fighting an uphill battle as it faces a trial by fire against Astralis.
The loser of this match will be sent to the Knockout Stage Round 1, putting them one step closer to elimination. The starting lineup for each team is as follows:
