One of the most famous places in JK Rowling’s wizarding world is the Chamber of Secrets. Unveiled in the second Harry Potter, the Chamber is where Harry Potter meets the Basilisk. But can players find the Chamber of Secrets in Hogwarts Legacy?
Built by the founder of Slytherine, Salazar Slytherin, the room’s main purpose was to keep the Muggles away from Hogwarts since he believed that only pure-bloods should study Wizardry and Witchcraft.

How to reach the Chamber of Secrets in Hogwarts Legacy?
Just like in the books, the Chamber of Secrets is located inside the girls’ washroom in the movies. However, it will not be in the Hogwarts Legacy journey. In the game, players will be able to find the entrance in the bathroom that is next to the Lower Grand Staircase.
If the players have the Lower Grand Staircase Floo Flame unlocked, accessing this bathroom becomes an easy task. After the players have made it to the bathroom, they should go down the stairs, and make a right from there. From there, they will have to walk down the hallway till they don’t reach the bathrooms. From there, enter the girls’ bathroom.
Another disappointment to Harry Potter fans could be that they will not see the ghost of Moaning Myrtle, who stays in the girls’ bathroom.
Which spell to use?
In order to get further information about the Chamber of Secrets, players have to use the Revelios spell, which will give players access to Field Guide Page. The page will tell you that it is indeed the entrance of the Chamber of Secrets.
Is there Basilisk in Hogwarts Legacy?
In the movies and books, the Chamber of Secrets houses the Basilisk. However, in the game, there is no Chambers of Secret. Hence, the Basilisk doesn’t exist there and will not be a threat to any of the students.
However, if the game does a DLC version, it will leave room for the addition of the Basilisk and the actual Chamber of Secrets. In the future, there could be more quests that surround more adventure.
