Collecting cars in GTA Online is one of the cornerstones of the game. From vintage classics to rocket-propelled cars, players need a place to stash their rides. In the game, players can either buy properties with a bunch of garage space or buy garages outright. These garages are split into different tiers, varying in price and car spaces. Additionally, Rockstar Games added a new 50-car garage that is the ultimate solution for most players’ car storage woes.
A guide to garages in GTA Online
Garages are split into three categories:
- Low-end garages ($25,000 to $35,000): Houses 2 vehicles and 1 bicycle
- Mid-tier garages ($62,500 to $80,000): Houses 6 vehicles and 2 bicycles
- High-end garages ($105,000 to $150,000): Houses 10 vehicles and 3 bicycles
To buy a garage, players must follow these steps:
- Use the phone or a laptop to visit dynasty8
- Either use the GUI map and select the garage icon to pick a space out or check the listings for garages
- Select a garage and customization options before buying it
While garages can be bought individually, many properties provide sufficient storage space for most players:
- Arena Workshop garage: up to 30 vehicles
- Office Garage: up to 30 vehicles
- Nightclub Garage: up to 31 vehicles
Most high-end properties come bundled with at least 10 vehicles worth of storage space. Recently, Rockstar added the Eclipse Blvd. Garage that differs from all other garages. It is a 50-car garage with a bunch of customization options that allow players to customize each floor. Players can store up to 10 cars per level, and can theme each floor to match the cars in it. The Eclipse Blvd. Garage costs $2,740,000 but was free for a while for GTA+ players.
While having many garages may be the cheaper option, organizing them isn’t the easiest. GTA Online does not allow garage-to-garage transfer, forcing players to drive each car to their new destination. This is why investing in a larger garage in a singular location makes a lot more sense.
