In 2023, Twitch star xQc has been hard at work trying to break his Minecraft rival, Forsen’s record in the 11-year-old sandbox video game. The two have been continuously trying to break each other’s record of quickly defeating Ender Dragon and completing the game. Forsen currently has the upper hand in this rivalry with a speedrun time of around 18 minutes and 10 seconds. xQc’s latest attempt resulted in failure and got him nothing more than a headache, leading him to end his stream.

In a recent stream, xQc attempted to break Forsen’s record numerous times but was unsuccessful. Persistently, he kept restarting the speed run over and over. Although some runs were going really well, they ended up being a disappointment. The 27-year-old even found the Endgame Portal in 14 minutes and 4 seconds on one run. Possibly the best run so far, many believed this might be the run where he would set the new Minecraft record. But this too ended up as a failure.

After multiple failures, the former Overwatch professional didn’t have the fortitude to go for any more Minecraft speed runs. He said to the chat, “I’m going crazy.” He promptly decided to end the speedrunning challenge for the day and also his live stream. The Canadian mentioned getting a headache after attempting the run so many times.

Why is X chasing the speedrun?

Earlier this year, the Canadian streamer managed to break Forsen’s 20-minute 38-second record following two years of attempts. However, it only took two months for Forsen to move ahead of xQc and beat his new time. In March 2023, Forsen completed the speed run which was over two minutes faster than Felix’s run. But the 27-year-old hasn’t given up and frequently tries to outperform his Minecraft rival on his livestream.
