The Legend of Zelda fans are going crazy about crafting mechas in Tears of the Kingdom
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has become the talk of the gaming community. It was one of the much-awaited video game releases this year. But now the most talked about thing about this game is building mechas in it.
Zelda games have always been popular for introducing new features to surprise its huge fanbase. The newly released Tears of the Kingdom is also no different, as it introduced many new features. But the one that everyone was looking forward to was the crafting mechanics.
Crafting mechanics isn’t something new in the gaming scene, as many games already allow their players to craft various in-game items. But the Zelda fans are taking this new crafting mechanic to great heights by creating items that the developers would have never imagined.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom turned into a mecha game
Like every other Zelda game, Tears of the Kingdom also falls under the action-adventure category. This game was meant for fans to explore Hyrule for discovering secrets and also battle enemies on the way. Mecha games are those featuring gigantic humanoid robots like the Titanfall series. A Tears of the Kingdom gameplay video has recently gone viral, where the fan created a gigantic mecha using the game’s crafting mechanics. The player employs that mecha to easily defeat a swarm of enemies.
The Zelda developers introduced the crafting mechanics for fans to create vehicles to ease traveling. But fans are using this feature to showcase their imagination. The internet is full of weird Tears of the Kingdom creations like Mecha robots, satellite laser cannons, and many more such in-game items.
How did fans react to the mecha?
The Zelda fans were quite amazed to see a mecha in the game made using the new crafting mechanic. They also complimented the player’s imagination for coming up with an idea to create a mecha. Some fans even jokingly called this mecha Gundam.
