Since xQc signed the deal with Kick, he’s been facing a lot of criticism. After the whole Pokimane-Hasan-xQc drama settled down, an Australian streamer, who goes by the name of Mathil1 has called him out for taking the $ 100 million deal.
During one of his live streams, Mathil1 was asked by Aussie Quin69 how he felt about the streamers who signed the Kick deal. The former replied by calling them “sub-human scum” and “straight-up evil.”
This is not the first time that someone has questioned xQc’s move to Kick, but it is the first time that someone has done it with such intensity.
Now, xQc has hit back at the Australian streamer for his comments and called him envious.
Streamer calls xQc’s Kick deal “straight up evil”
Mathil was streaming with Aussie Quin69 when the latter asked him what he thought about the Kick deals that are being handed out to streamers.
To everyone’s surprise, Mathil didn’t sugarcoat his opinions and said:
Every single one of those people are sub-human scum
He then continued to share his opinions and made it clear that he was not in favor of Kick or anyone who signs a deal with them, and mentioned xQc specifically saying:
Straight up evil at this point as far as I’m concerned… I think he’s just one of the worst things to happen to streaming. There it is.
xQc claps back at the streamer for his insensitive comments
During his own stream, xQc comes across the clip and plays it. Shockingly, his response was very calm about what the streamer had to say about him and others. For the first few seconds, he found Mathil’s take to be interesting and then said:
I think people should be allowed to have an opinion…. Some people’s s*umb a**es won’t align with others.
He continued presenting his opinion calmly and said that if Mathil feels this way about him, he has the right to have the opinion.
He then continued to say that the way Mathil had said what he had to, makes him look extremely envious for not getting a deal from Kick. He said:
I’m gonna be honest with you, there are a lot of ways to manifest and to argue something… This just comes across as extremely envious, almost.
xQc then continued addressing the whole situation calmly and said Mathil could have found a nicer way to put across his points, but now, he just reeks of jealousy, envy, and insecurity. He said:
I don’t mean to call him out or anything, but when you use loaded words angled in a certain way, usually jealousy, envy, and insecurity, it’s like the trifecta of human awakeness… That’s just how it is.
This is not the first time since xQc signed the Kick deal that he has had to face a lot of backlashes. The initial drama started when Pokimane and Hasan were talking about him taking the deal just to get a chunk of money. Pokimane even said that she would never take such a deal because it goes against her “morals” and “ethics”.
