Genshin Impact 3.7 has officially hit the servers and the main event “Duel! The Summoners’ Summit!”, will soon be available for players to take part in. The event offers four different unique gameplay experiences and exciting new rewards like the free four-star bow, Ibis Piercer.
The first phase of Genshin Impact 3.7 is live now as players are excited to pull for Yae Miko and Yoimiya. One of the first events of this phase is the main event of the version “Duel! The Summoner’s Summit!”. The namesake of the patch, this event will see a major TCG focus as players progress through the storyline.
Furthermore, the event will also offer several enticing rewards that can be obtained by reaching specific landmarks during the update. The Ibis Piercer, a free four-star weapon, is one such reward that players might look forward to. The following section of this article will cover a brief guide to the event and its various minigames.
Genshin Impact 3.7 TCG event: date, eligibility, and rewards
The event will be focused on TCG, which will also have a major update in this patch. The highly anticipated tournament, known as the King of Invocations Grand Prix, is set to captivate audiences worldwide, and the esteemed reporter from Fontaine, Charlotte, is poised to deliver unparalleled coverage. The event will be available from May 25, 10:00 AM to June 19, 03:59 AM server time.
To be eligible to take part in this event, players will have to be of AR 32 or above and have completed the Inazuma Archon Quest “Ritou Escape Plan” and the TCG world quest “Battlefield of Dice, Cats, and Cards.” It is recommended that players also complete the Sumeru Archon Quest “Akasa Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises” along with Mona’s and two of Raiden’s story quests before starting the event. However, it is possible to Quick Start the event without the latter three.
During the event, players can obtain “Invokation Coupons” by completing various gameplay objectives. These coupons are for redeeming rewards such as the weapon Ibis Piercer and its refinement materials, Crown of Insight, character, and weapon ascension materials, and Mora. Players will also be able to win a lot of Primogems during the event.
Event gameplay
In addition to the enthralling main storyline, the event will also showcase an array of four captivating and distinct mini-games. These are Tour of Wonders, Zero Hour Invokation, Evermotion Mechanical Painting, and Heart of the Dice. These mini-games introduce players to diverse gameplay experiences and incorporate elements of TCG mechanics.
During the Tour of Wonders, participants will engage in thrilling challenges that involve maneuvering around obstacles to reach ‘Scenic Checkpoints’ in different nations. These checkpoints will have stamps for players to collect which they can use to redeem rewards from the Event Shop.
The Zero Hour Invokation is a TCG mini-game where players can choose from pre-made incomplete decks and complete them using the available cards. They will have eight decks to select from. They can then proceed to select the difficulty level of the match before dueling the opponent.
In the Evermotion Mechanical Painting mini-game, called Invoker, players will need to adjust the correct gears on axles in order to successfully restore 8 paintings. Once restored, players can recognize these paintings to be based on TCG cards.
The Heart of the Dice will offer combat-based gameplay where players can collect ‘Invokation Dice’ during battles and use them to fight enemies in a limited-time domain. Players can use these dice to cast ‘Suppressive Rolls’ which can help defeat the enemies.
These mini-games will unlock in a sequence, making them available gradually to the players through the course of the event.
