Genshin Impact 3.8 might introduce a new limited map like its predecessor Golden Apple Archipelago, called Penumbra. Leaks suggest that the region will have an amusement park.
Genshin Impact, a dynamic game that undergoes constant evolution, introduces exciting updates and additions every six weeks. Although version 3.7 has just been released on the servers, rumors regarding the upcoming version have already begun to circulate.

Genshin Impact Penumbra map and details
The map posted by several reliable Twitter accounts shows a green area in different pictures, each with interesting architecture which looks like fun features of the area. Speculations suggest that this area is an amusement park with several rides.
Furthermore, players must be excited to know that this area also possibly consists of a roller coaster. The green color of the map makes sense as leaks also suggest that it is a jungle, and also surrounded by sand, hence could be located close to the Sumeru desert. Penumbra might be similar in size to the Archipelago, giving ample chance for players to explore.
Some leaked screenshots by @HutaoLover7 7 also show exciting details about the possible new features and minigames during the 3.8 events. Speculations suggest that the Penumbra area in Genshin Impact will be a step closer to Fontaine, where players are destined to go next.
Amidst all the map leaks, @HoYoverseJapan on Twitter has claimed the map name to be “Veluriyam Mirage”. The map might be a domain owned by an Oceanid, called Idyia. There is no information if the model of the new Oceanid will be similar to the familiar Rhodeia. Players are advised to take any leaks with a grain of salt until any official confirmation.
