We obtain the Mystical Heirloom at the beginning of God of War Ragnarok. However, we find out about its use much later in the game.
The Mystical Heirloom is a Relic in the game. The Description reads that it does not have any combat application. However, players were nosing around the game and found out that the Mystical Heirloom, in fact, does have a use. This article will look at what the Heirloom is helpful for and where you can use it. Let us get into it.

How to Use the Mystical Heirloom in God of War Ragnarok
Reddit User PlanktonPure9741 found out about the use of this Heirloom by sharing a video of them using it, much to the fan’s bewilderment. Here is a video of them doing that.
The use for these Heirlooms is apparently activating statues and fighting the creatures. Go near those statues and activate the Heirloom to fight whoever’s statue it is. The video on Reddit shows the Everlasting Dragon in Svartalfheim.
The dragon is not the only boss fighting in this fashion. Apparently, you can fight many statue enemies scattered all over the Nine Realms. There are many troll statues you can use this Mystical Heirloom to activate them.
The best part about this is Santa Monica’s cunning. There is always something players can find even after months of release. It speaks volumes of their commitment on making the game’s replayability off the charts.
Do not worry if you have missed these statues in your initial playthrough. You can always complete them when the New Game Plus releases next year during Spring. We have an article about the New Game Plus and information about it; you can check it out below.
