Harbhajan Singh and MS Dhoni share a strong bond between the two, having won the T20 World Cup and the 50 over World Cup together.
In the IPL though, the duo were at loggerheads in the first decade of the competition, as MI and CSK probably had the fiercest rivalry.
Seeing Bhajji and Dhoni play together in the IPL was a dream for a lot of cricket romantics in India, a dream that was getting distant with every passing year.
However, with the teams getting revamped after the initial 10 year stint, CSK managed to get hold of Harbhajan Singh, a shrewd move, especially considering the Chepauk surface.
And the end result of it all was brilliant for Bhajji, Dhoni and CSK, as the Chennai franchise managed to win its 3rd IPL and Bhajji ended up winning his 4th.
The final at the Wankhede brought back a lot of memories for Bhajji and Dhoni, as in 2011 it was here where the Indian cricket team conquered the world and lifted that elusive World Cup trophy.
“Same ground where we won the World Cup 2011 together and never imagine we would be playing together in ipl for the same team and winning it after 10 years playing against each other’s…Wankhede lucky venue for us ?” tweeted Harbhajan Singh.

After a successful IPL season, Bhajji would be hoping for a strong domestic season so as to carve his way back into the Indian team.
The world is shifting towards a wrist spin dominated ‘society’ and it will be interesting to see if a veteran finger spinner is in any way able to influence it.
