The England striker is said to be disenchanted by the project at the club
Although he’s remained true to Tottenham despite failing to win a major trophy with the club, it looks like Harry Kane has finally run out of patience with the Premier League side.
Despite giving it his all on the pitch across manifold seasons now, Kane has failed to taste the consummate success a player of his calibre deserves. He’s been bereft of any meaningful title till date with the closest being a silver medal in the Champions League.
Kane’s Time At Tottenham Coming To An End
And it looks like Harry Kane has finally pulled his last straw at the club. The side’s striker is said to be eyeing a prospective switch to greener pastures with Sport reporting that the Englishman was looking at possible new ventures come the end of the ongoing season.
As per reports, Daniel Levy is said to have slapped a behemoth price tag on the striker, one which would run well above the 100 million pound tag. Kane’s services are said to be available for only 150 million pounds to Premier League sides with Manchester City set to be monitoring the player’s situation as it scours for a replacement for Sergio Aguero.
Kane who has scored on 21 occasions for Tottenham this term failed to propel the club to win against Arsenal on Sunday. The side fell to a 2-1 defeat despite taking the lead through Erik Lamela with Odegaard and Lacazette hitting back after Lamela was sent off in the second half.
Kane’s performance on the night was subject to massive scrutiny with many talking about the striker’s absence during crucial matches. Kane has just the one goal and two assists to show against top 6 clubs this term despite being the team’s top scorer in the Premier League.
The striker’s dirty side was also brought to the fore as he ended up barging into Gabriel, a misconduct which was needless. Kane somehow managed to escape even being fouled for the unsavoury incident, with many once again irked with the special treatment the England captain is meted in the league.
