1) Chris Gayle – 243 sixes
In 2016, Chris Gayle had a poor IPL according to his lofty standards. It is worth mentioning that in spite of an average tournament, he is still 80 SIXES ahead of Rohit Sharma in the all time list of players who have hit the maximum number of sixes.
FIY, Gayle missed the first edition of the IPL through injury and only played a few matches in 2009.
