Disguised Toast aka Jeremy Wang has been the Among Us God for a while now. Not only is he one of the biggest streamers of the game, but also an amazing player. Some of his fellow streamers such as Big Moist have called him the Mike Tyson of the game.
And they are not wrong. Several of his plays like the one attached below rank among the greatest plays in the history of the game. So, we and his fellow mates have almost grown used to seeing Toast Sherlock his way through a match. And yet, he still managed to blow our mind recently with yet another special trick!
The Magic that Toast pulled off.
It was just yet another Among Us stream and things were breezing along normally. Everybody blamed everybody, the entire lobby lied and nothing much made sense. Then, all of a sudden Pokimane & Valkyrae were made Imposters. Just before the game began, Toast suddenly had a plan.
He asked everyone to remember the key slot of their key task. (The Key Task was the common task for that game). Almost everyone made a note of it. Then, as a person died and a meeting was called, he asked them their key slots. Everybody said theirs quite credibly. And those who stammered a little, or were vague, got sussed.
However, that meeting ended and no one voted anyone off. Then, within moments, Toast used the info he just received and sussed out 2 people. You guessed it! Valkyrae & Pokimane! In the next meeting, he called them out and asked people to vote them off. Rae just went berserk, as she often does, when they voted her off.
Meanwhile, Poki tried her best to feign innocence. Everyone thought Toast had simply made random guesses and was trolling. Myth was just waiting to see how wrong Toast was. And then, the magic happened! “Victory” popped up on the screen and Toast blew the whole lobby’s mind.
Rae was still fuming at Toast’s play and asked him how he did it! Was it 2 random guesses, some kind of cheating or a special trick? Let’s find out.
The Secret new Among Us trick to catch Imposters.
As Valkyrae & half the lobby asked Toast how he did it, Toast revealed his secret. It was a piece of little known info that very few people are aware of and this gave him a huge advantage. As it turns out, there is a specific order in which the key slots in the key task position themselves.
It depends on the order in which players join a lobby. So, the host, who naturally joins the lobby first gets the first slot. Then, the 2nd person gets the one to the right of it. After that, the 3rd one gets the 2nd row’s left slot and the 4th gets the right slot and so on.
So Toast used his amazing memory power to remember everyone’s joining order. Then, when he asked the people about their key slot, Poki & Rae, being Imposters, randomly lied. However, he knew their actual slot and caught them! Easy peasy, lemon squeezy! Now it’s your turn to use this piece of little known info and shock your crewmates! Good luck and have fun!
