Step 1 – Gathering Clay

The first step is to gather as much clay as possible because that is all you need as a base material. You can easily find clay underwater in any biome. Gather as much clay as possible since this is the only way to gather clay. You will also need a furnace; let us take a look at how you can make that in the next step.

Step 2 – Making a Furnace

You just need cobblestones for a furnace. You can find cobblestones underground or in caves. Collect as much as you want. However, to make the furnace you will need eight cobblestones. Arrange the cobblestones in the crafting table in every grid except the center one and craft. You will also need coal for the furnace as fuel. You can find that near lava pools or you can also use magma.
