Huge Champion vs Champion match set for Survivor Series

Survivor Series has always been a huge show for the WWE. One of the big four PPVs for the company, Survivor Series has lately lost a little been of it sheen.

The rise of the Extreme Rules PPV has meant that the company does not pay as much importance to the Survivor Series as it once did. The absence of marquee traditional series matches is also an issue, as people just don’t seem very interested in it.

But it looks like the WWE are looking to change that this year as they will look to have a huge Champion vs Champion match at the major PPV. The one rumour that is floating around is that Vince McMahon wants Lesnar to face Jinder in the main event.

With Lesnar and Mahal being the champions of their respective brands, Vince wants to do a huge match that would sell tickets.

But the only problem is that Mahal is not nearly as big a name as Brock Lesnar!

The initial plan was for Balor to face Lesnar for the title while Mahal would face AJ Styles for his world title. That news though looks to be off the table as of now.

Everyone knows that Lesnar has a select few dates with the WWE, which is why they need to manage his time properly. A potential feud with Balor would excite everyone, which is why maybe they should go back to the original plan!
