TN vs MUM Dream11 Prediction : Tamil Nadu Vs Mumbai Best Dream 11 Team for Ranji Trophy Match

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest Test rankings after the conclusion of the series between South Africa and Sri Lanka.

In the two-match test series between South Africa and Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka won 2-0. In both matches, they were always on the top of the game and never even for a moment South Africa could sneak in.

A lot was expected from the Proteas as they were coming off a 3-1 victory over Australia. However, they failed to surprise. The last time they toured the subcontinent, it was in India when they lost the series 3-0.

However, many thought that since that time the team had progressed a long way. But that did not materialize.

South Africa lacked quality spinners and had just Tabraiz Shamsi and Keshav Maharaj at their disposal. On the other hand, Sri Lanka had three talented spinners in Rangana Herath, Dilruwan Perera and Akila Dananjaya.

Dimuth karunaratne has entered the top 20 in the Test batting rankings after his consistent performances. Keshav Maharaj has also jumped five spots to move to the eighteenth spot in the test bowlers ranking.

Although Steve Smith has been banned for one year from all international cricket, he has retained his first spot. At number two is Virat Kohli who is followed by Joe Root.

The competition between Kohli and Root in the England series would be worth watching. Meanwhile James Anderson has dethroned Kagiso Rabada to become the number one ranked Test bowler.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest Test rankings after the conclusion of the series between South Africa and Sri Lanka.

Ravi Jadeja is slotted at number three while Ravichandran Ashwin is at the fifth place. Ashwin and Jadeja are also ranked No 4 and 2 respectively in the test all rounder rankings.
