With all the experiments being completed in the 2019 season, Max Caldas & Co. have a settled team this year and are treating this tournament as a stepping-stone for the Tokyo Olympics in July 2020.
Max Caldas admits that India is an extremely challenging opposition in home conditions and his side will be tested in these two games; whereas Graham Reid believes that it is important to start sharp in the Pro League where India will be facing the top three teams in the World.
In an interview with the International Hockey Federation Indian midfielder Lalit Upadhyay stated that the team was very excited to make their debut in the Pro League against the formidable Dutch side.
