India win bronze in 25m rapid fire pistol in ISSF Junior World Championship
The Indian Junior Shooting team created history at the ISSF Junior World Championship in Suhi, Germany winning the bronze medal in the 25m fire pistol. The Indian team consisting of Anish, Anhad Jawanda and Shivam Shukla scored 1711 points.
Anish had earlier racked up the gold medal in the 25m air pistol event. Yashaswini Singh Deswal had won India’s secondgold medal in the standard pistol event.
India won a total of 2 gold, one silver and one bronze in the event.
This has been a wonderful outing for the junior shooting contingent, bringing home 4 medals from the event and unearthing some great shooting talent in the country.
