Indian cricket team’s schedule for 2019: The cricketers of the Indian team will be seen involving themselves in a hectic 2019.

Indian cricket team’s full schedule for the year 2019 has been announced. While India played majority of its cricket in other countries, they will be mostly seen playing at home this year.

India’s schedule till the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 was known but there were apprehensions regarding what would follow post the world event. The current development will mean a major boost for the Indian fans for they will get to watch a lot more matches in the stadiums this year.

India will start their journey for this year by playing the fourth Test of the ongoing India’s tour of Australia at Sydney from tomorrow. After the Test series, India will play a three-match ODI series down under.

India will then move to New Zealand to play three ODIs and three T20Is, respective squads for the same have already been announced. During the second half of February till the first half of March, India will host Australia for five ODIs and three T20Is.

In what will become a rare case in the last decade or so, Zimbabwe will tour India for a one-off Test and three T20Is. The short tour will be followed by the biggest T20 league in the Indian Premier League.

Post the cash-rich tournament, India will travel to England for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

Towards the end of July (till August), India will tour West Indies for two Test matches, three ODIs and three T20Is.

A three-match Test series against South Africa will kick-off India’s home season from October. The November-December will witness India hosting Bangladesh for a rare two Test matches and three T20Is.

India will once again host West Indies for three ODIs and three T20Is in the month of December.

Australia (Away): 4th Test, 3 ODIs – January

New Zealand (Away): 3 ODIs, 3 T20Is – January-February

Australia (Home): 5 ODIs, 3 T20Is – February-March

Zimbabwe (Home): 1 Test, 3 ODIs – March

ICC World Cup 2019 (in England): May 30 to July 14

West Indies (Away): 2 Tests, 3 ODIs, 3 T20Is – July-August

South Africa (Home): 3 Tests – October-November

Bangladesh (Home): 2 Tests, 3T20Is – November-December

West Indies (Home): 3 ODIs, 3 T20Is – December
