John Cena: BTS and WWE Superstar Cena to cross paths in a life changing event?

John Cena: Is the WWE superstar about to attend a BTS concert? His followers on twitter certainly seem to believe he might.

John Cena is known to post cryptic posts on his social media accounts. He updates pictures with no captions on Instagram and motivational tweets without any context on his Twitter handle. His followers tend to take it upon themselves to try and figure out what they mean.

His recent Tweet however has left his fans in a frenzy and speculation is rife among his followers on whether WWE’s Babe Ruth is set to attend popular K-pop boy band BTS’ concert.

Many are convinced that the ‘Lightning Bolt’ in his tweet is a reference to the BTS light sticks that are very popular among BTS fans, also known as ‘The BTS army’.

Last year in an interview with ET’s Ashley Crossan, the WWE star mentioned that he knew the K-pop band and had been their fan for years. He also expressed his desire to cross paths with them someday.

“I’m petitioning to be their secret bodyguard. I’m currently doing some business in China, and China’s really close to Korea, so you never know what can happen,” he teased. “I get closer to them, [but] I think they’re actually here in the States though. So we may be passing each other.”

Could it be that Cena has finally got the opportunity to meet them in person or  are the fans looking too much into it? Hopefully we will find out soon in the coming days.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
