The pro-wrestling business has been heavily influenced by money as of late. The WWE, which manages to lead the promotions, in terms of revenue generated provides lucrative salaries to their talents.

Much like the previous years, the top stars have managed to pocket a hefty sum of money as was revealed by Forbes.

As per the source, John Cena managed to topple “The Beast Incarnate” by bagging $10 million for the last year. Lesnar managed to finish second albeit a huge gap with $6.5 million.

This might be the penultimate salary he receives from the company, as the Universal Champion is rumoured to switch back to UFC after his contract ends.

After the power duo of Cena and Lesnar, not so surprisingly comes Roman Reigns at third position. The Big Dog managed to receive $4.3 million dollars for his exploits in 2017. Shortly behind Reigns, is the “Phenomenal” AJ Styles who caps off a brilliant year with a sum of $3.5 million dollars.

Roman Reigns and AJ Styles, arguable the biggest stars for their respective brands will be looking to climb up the ladder with Lesnar out of the way and Cena speculated to work lesser dates with the company, owing to his hectic movie schedule.

The last name in the list comes in the form of the COO of the company, Triple H, who managed to secure $3.2 million dollars.

Most of the amount is dedicated for his work as a corporate rather than a wrestler, since the “King Of Kings” has only wrestled at WrestleMania and Survivor Series last year.

Do you think that the pay received for the above mentioned talent is justified? Let us know in the comments section.
