Jon Moxley: Watch the Latest AEW signee declare war against the WWE

Jon Moxley: Watch the Latest AEW signee declare war against the WWE in a backstage promo after Double or Nothing Pay per View on Saturday.

All Elite Wrestling posted a video that featured Jon Moxley on their Twitter handle last night. Moxley delivered an exciting promo that in essence declared a war against the WWE. He spoke in a manner a prison convict would speak after a jailbreak; Joy and excitement mired with a tinge of melancholy and anger. Moxley expressed his desire to avenge his soul and give the wrestling business a facelift. He rung the warning bells for anyone that dared stand in his or the AEW’s way.

The video ended with Moxley calmly saying:

“This is what you call a paradigm shift”

Jon Moxley, formerly known as Dean Ambrose is a Grand Slam champion in the WWE. He left the company in April. Since his departure, the wrestling community was rife with speculations over his new destination. All Elite Wrestling, Impact Wrestling and even the Indies were part of this conversation. Many even considered the possibility of him quitting wrestling altogether.

Moxley remained quiet the entire time until he made his explosive debut at Double or nothing last Saturday. He entered the ring at the completion of the Main Event. After hitting Chris Jericho with a Dirty Deeds the unhinged superstar set his sights on Kenny Omega. The two would go on to brawl in the crowd before Moxley threw Omega into a built-in stage.

He will also wrestle in NJPW next month; Proving that he is far from done with wrestling. You would be forgiven to think that his time in the WWE jaded him but looks like Moxley has found his freedom. In his own words, “he is alive and is busy writing history”.

Archie is a WWE and UFC Editor/Author at the SportsRush. Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
