Manchester United under the tutelage of their Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho is all set to launch a massive bid in an attempt to sign the Paris St Germain star Kylian Mbappe.

After having signed Alexis Sanchez, Mourinho is determined to sign the 19-year-old French youngster to improve their lacklustre attack for the upcoming season.

Despite boasting the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Antony Martial and Marcus Rashford, the Red Devils have failed to line up in the attacking fore.

Don Balon reports:

However, according to the Spanish media outlet Don Balon, as quoted by 90min.com, the Red Devils are prepared to submit an offer that would eclipse the £200m fee that PSG spent on Neymar last summer.

This deal would see the Frenchman becoming the highest paid player in the history of the game.

The teenager is yet to finalise his £166m move to PSG after he spent the season on loan at Parc des Princes with an option for a permanent switch at the end of the 2017-18 season.

FFP paving a way for Manchester United:

With issues regarding FFP, the deal that will tie the Frenchman to the French capital is in doubts, with PSG having already signed Neymar Jr from Barcelona at a record sum.

If the reports are true then, Manchester United would make a backdoor sweep for the youngster, in a rather controversial manner.

The Spanish media outlet suggested that the French club PSG would listen to an offer in the region of €190m (£167.5m) only if Manchester United include Anthony Martial in the package deal.

With Anthony Martial not in the scheme of things at Manchester United, it would be a deal-deal for both the sides. There would be a massive switch in terms of the playing style for both the sides, without their key players.

Will Martial be able to replace the youngster on the wings, or is it just another transfer rumour?
