Jose Mourinho press conference: The Manchester United manager spoke to the press before the Champions League match against Valencia.
Manchester United are enduring a difficult season in the Premier League, as they find themselves at 10th position with only 10 points from seven matches. The club lost 3-1 to West Ham in the weekend, after a controversial week which saw Mourinho and Pogba arguing in the training session.
Jose Mourinho’s side has lost three matches in the Premier League this season, and were knocked out in their opening fixture of the Carabao Cup by the lower-league side, Derby County.
Manchester United will look to make amends and attempt to bring the season back on track when they enter the field in the Champions League to take on Spanish club Valencia. Mourinho’s side made a strong start to their European campaign, as they registered a thumping 3-0 victory against Swiss champions Young Boys.
The manager talked to the media before the match against Valencia, which is scheduled to take place at Old Trafford.

There were various reports in the British media, which linked the former Real Madrid manager with a move to Manchester United. The manager was also quizzed on whether he received a phone-call from Zinedine Zidane after the match against West Ham.
“Ask the guy behind you, he wrote the story,” said Mourinho.
“When we win we all win and when we lose we all lose,” says the boss. “It’s the responsibility of everybody at the club. It’s a collective thing.” #MUFC #UCL

At being asked on the last he spoke to the club’s CEO Ed Woodward, Mourinho said, “That’s a private matter, I don’t ask you who your last phone call was with this morning.”
Jose Mourinho also addressed the doubts over his performance at Manchester United. “The big successes of Atletico last year was my success two years before,” said the Portuguese manager.

“The reason why we don’t win matches is the same as why we win matches. It’s down to everybody. The performance on the pitch is down to many factors,” said Mourinho.
