Jose Mourinho to Real Madrid

Jose Mourinho has hilariously taken a swipe at Real Madrid with Champions League claim.

Jose Mourinho is one of the successful managers in world football, but he was relieved from his duties at Manchester United following a horrible start to the campaign at Old Trafford. The major reasons behind his sacking are losing the trust of his own players inside the dressing room and the lack of adaptability from the players to fit into his system.

The former Chelsea manager does not enjoy his third season at any one of his clubs he has managed so far. He struggles to maintain a proper positive atmosphere in the dressing room by having a wrestling relationship with some of the players which will totally destroy the mentality of the whole club.

Over the last few weeks, Jose Mourinho has made plenty of appearances as a Bein Sports pundit in order to analyze games. The Portuguese International was asked about the prospect of managing Real Madrid after the conclusion of this season.

The treble winner with Inter Milan said that he would be open to a move if the club’s structure is pinpoint and satisfies his ambitions & needs.

“To a club that I have been before? If I think the right club, the right structure, the right ambitions, I will have no problem at all. I think it’s really a reason of pride when a club where you worked before wanting you back.”

Mourinho admitted that some of his former employees are at the best club in the world currently “They are the Iconic club, I think so you know 13 Champions Leagues.”

The former Manchester United boss feels there is unfinished business between him and the club who decided to sack him last December.

“The only club where I feel that is in relation to Manchester United, the moment I left with what I think I could have achieved and the improvement of a few things but all the other clubs I have the best possible feeling, which is I gave everything.” said Mourinho.

The special one was in a heap of praise for the Los Blancos who have retained the Champions League for the past three years.

“Real Madrid made something extraordinary in Europe in the last five years is absolutely incredible. If you want to look at my time we are speaking for about seven years, seven semi-finals. Five years, four finals and four victories it’s absolutely amazing.”

Looking back his tenure at Santiago Bernabeu, Jose Mourinho was quick to point out the dominance of Real Madrid by breaking the unplayable Barcelona side who were winning trophies for fun during his Real Madrid reign.

“Then you go to the marathons of (the league) in being stable, being regular and being strong from August to May going to the championship. I think in the last ten years they have won it twice so I think there is a big gap in the success in the knockout competition and not so much success in the marathons of the league.“

Richard Keys asked about the chance to lift the Champions League at Santiago Bernabeu, but Jose Mourinho replied in a most hilarious way “I won a Champions League at the Bernabeu with Inter!”

The 56-year-old stressed out about the league win during 2011/12 season by beating Pep Guardiola’s Barcelona to secure their silverware. Mourinho said, “For a manager, I think the feeling of amazing work during one season and winning the league has an incredible value.”

Mourinho did briefly touch on his return to Chelsea, adding that it was one of the best moments of his career. “One of my best feelings in football is to get back to Chelsea. When people take you back for a second time it means they know how good you are.”

Real Madrid fans have certainly made up their mind to welcome the Special One to the capital city of Spain for the second time. A video was doing rounds of those Los Blancos faithful wanting the Portuguese International to take over the club from Santiago Solari from next season after the second loss to Barcelona in three days.

The question now remains if Florentino Perez will be handing out the job to Jose Mourinho following the recent criticisms he has received about the outdated football his side has played at Old Trafford.
