Kevin-Prince Boateng on Messi and Ronaldo: The Ghanaian footballer joined Barcelona on loan from Italian side Sassuolo.
Barcelona confirmed the signing of Kevin-Prince Boateng on loan from Serie A club Sassuolo after heavy speculations over the move.
The footballer joined Barcelona on a loan until the end of the current season, with an option to sign on a permanent basis for a €8m transfer fee.
Boateng has had an illustrious club career. He has played in Germany, England, Spain and Italy throughout his career, and returns to Spain for the second time with Barcelona. Earlier, he represented Las Palmas in 2016/17 season.
However, the internet was quick to find Boateng’s interview, dating back to 2016 where he was asked to choose between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. As he joins the Argentine star at Barcelona, his answer makes for superb reading.
Kevin-Prince Boateng:
Boateng stated that Cristiano Ronaldo is the best example for young footballers to follow in an interview.
“For youngsters that are footballers, Ronaldo would have to be the best in the world,” he said.

🗣 Kevin-Prince Boateng (in 2016) “For youngsters that are footballers, Ronaldo would have to be the best in the world. But what Cristiano does works in this world, and only in this world. Outside of this world, the best is Messi. Because he’s incredible.” [marca]

“He is the best example to focus on because he trains at his maximum and has talent.
“He works like a crazy person, he’s passionate about what he does and about football. He always wants to be the best, always wants to be first in everything. He would have to be the model for everyone.”
However, he insisted that Lionel Messi does things ‘nobody else’ can do, adding that the Argentine star is ‘ahead of everyone.’

Why is everyone re-posting Kevin-Prince Boateng’s Ronaldo post? He legit said Messi is above everyone in an interview lol. No need to be mad about a tweet that shows his opinion.
He’s a Ronaldo fan – but at least he knows Messi is the best of all time.
