KKR vs DC Dream 11 team Prediction

KKR vs DC Dream 11 team Prediction: Dream 11 Fantasy Cricket Tips for RR vs CSK as The SportsRush helps you form the best possible Dream 11 team.

The 26th match of the ongoing 12th season of the Indian Premier League will be played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. While the visitors are coming on the back of a victory against Royal Challengers Bangalore, playing on their home ground should aid the hosts, who were last defeated by Chennai Super Kings in an away encounter.

With four wins in six matches, Knight Riders are currently second on the points table. On the other hand, with three wins in six matches, Capitals are at No. 6 in the points table.

Remaining unperturbed with a defeat in their last match against Chennai Super Kings, Knight Riders would be looking to come back to winning ways on their home ground. On the contrary, with three wins in six matches, Capitals wouldn’t want their number of losses to exceed their number of wins.

KKR vs DC Dream 11 team Prediction

Wicket-keeper for KKR vs DC Dream 11

The wicket-keeper’s slot will witness a tough contest between two cricketers who perhaps are also contesting for the spot of reserve wicket-keeper in India’s ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 team. Out of Dinesh Karthik and Rishabh Pant, the latter shows more promise when it comes to yielding results on Dream 11.

Considering the impact which the southpaw can generate in a T20 contest, not opting for him has it in it to put you in trouble. Other than the potential, what also works in Pant’s favour is his strike rate of 172.54 in IPL 2019 as compared to Karthik’s 118.18. If Pant bats with a tad more responsibility, I expect him to come exceptionally good tonight.

Bowlers for KKR vs DC Dream 11

Keeping Dream 11’s points system in mind, it would be illogical to invest in expensive bowlers. Therefore, I suggest you to keep things economical in the bowling division. Since the match will be played at the Eden Gardens, selecting the hosts’ tried and tested duo of Piyush Chawla and Kuldeep Yadav had good chances of you alluring returns.

With Delhi’s batsmen primarily struggling for consistency in the tournament so far, I don’t anticipate them to turn the tables against KKR. Hence, Chawla and Yadav could be seen troubling them in the middle overs.

As far as a specialist fast bowler is concerned, Knight Riders’ English recruit Harry Gurney will be my pick. The 32-year old cricketer seems to be relishing his maiden IPL season. In two matches, his average of 22.50, economy rate of 7.50 and a strike rate of 18 gives affirmative signs of him doing well tonight.

All-rounder for KKR vs DC Dream 11

The highlight of picking a Dream 11 team from Knight Riders and Capitals is the presence of all-rounders in both the teams. In a bid to make optimum gains, you should doubtlessly include Andre Russell, Sunil Narine and Chris Morris in your squad for tonight.

The splendid form that Russell is in with the bat, leaving him out will qualify as outright stupidity. Another sight of the right-hand batsman propelling Kolkata to victory should come as a victory for you guys as well.

Russell’s West Indian and KKR teammate Narine’s blazing form at the top of the order will bode well in Dream 11. The two facts that Narine is confirmed to bat in the powerplay and bowl four overs are enough reasons to pick him in your respective squads.

In the four matches that Morris has played in IPL 2019, he has dismissed six batsmen at an average of 19.83, an economy rate of 7.93 and a strike rate of 15. Considering Capitals’ batting lineup, Morris is set to bat at No. 6 which gives him a lot of time to prove his mettle in both the departments yet again. With him also bowling two overs in teh death, I am counting on him to add more to his wickets column.

Batsmen for KKR vs DC Dream 11

Other than Russell’s heroics in IPL 2019, Knight Riders have mostly thrived on the individual form of Robin Uthappa and Nitish Rana. With KKR’s No. 3 and No. 4 being their second and third-highest run-scorers of the season so far, there are fair chances of them piling on the runs tonight as well. With Chris Lynn out of form, both Uthappa and Rana might get more time to bat in the middle.

Having scored 215 runs in six matches at an average of 35.83 and a strike rate of 122.85, DC captain Shreyas Iyer is the sixth highest run-scorer in the tournament and the highest run-scorer for his team. Coming on the back of scoring 67 (50) with the help of eight fours and two sixes against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Iyer is most likely to continue his form against KKR.

Capitals opening batsman Prithvi Shaw had scored 99 (55) with the help of 12 fours and three sixes in his team’s last encounter with Kolkata. In what was an innings which deserved to convert into a century, Shaw was unlucky to miss out on the milestone.

Having registered scores of 0, 11 and 28 since then, Shaw is now due for a big innings which might again come against KKR. Moreover, with the hosts’ comprising of a mediocre fast bowling unit, you can expect Shaw to go all-out at the top of the order.

Captain – Andre Russell

Vice-captain – Sunil Narine
