Several factors led to the downfall of the much anticipated Survivor Series’ main event, with one of them being the fact that “The Olympic Gold Medalist”, Kurt Angle looking rusty in the ring. This led to several fans worrying about their beloved RAW General Manager’s health.
Kurt Angle cleared all the doubts when he went live on Facebook to interact with the fans in a question-answer session. When asked about the status of his leg which was taped up during the Survivor Series main event, Kurt replied:
“Leg is ok. I tore a muscle in it doing wind sprints 2 days before PPV. It’s okay though. I feel good and should be 100% in a week.”

This provides relief for the WWE Universe who are looking forward to Angle returning back to the ring for singles competition. With a rumoured feud against Triple H not far by, this would have been the worst time for Angle to get injured.
The possible reason behind Angle’s injury could also account to the fact that he was part of several live events before the Survivor Series pay-per-view and this might just be the indication that Angle cannot work a full-time schedule, unlike his peers.
