The General Manager of RAW spared some time recently over a Q&A session on Facebook where he talked about his desired opponents, his thoughts on Shield, and much more.

The Olympic Gold medallist was definitely pumped up on asked whether he would like to face “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles or his SmackDown counterpart Daniel Bryan. Angle said:

“AJ or Daniel? That’s like comparing identical twins. They’re both exceptional. Just give me 30 minutes with one of them. That’s all I want.”

He was next asked about his favourite stipulation in the WWE after contesting in a variety of matches over the years. Angle revealed that the Ironman match is the stipulation closest to his heart. He added:

“One on one Ironman Match. It’s the only way to separate the men from the boys. I’ve done 4 or 5 in my entire career. That’s when you know how good you truly are. Ironman Match!”

Angle’s Iron Man match against Brock Lesnar was critically acclaimed and is still known as the greatest match of SamckDown history.

Angle was further asked about his thoughts while delivering a moonsault considering the risk behind the move. Angle replied:

“I don’t think much. When you think about it, it makes you hesitate, and THAT’S when you get hurt. Just do it.”

Angle was asked to give his thoughts on the return of the Shield. He stated that their return has hit several bumps on the road as a result of injuries and their best is yet to come. He added:

“The Shield has been dealing with a lot of setbacks and injuries. But they will unite again. Be patient.”

To conclude Angle was asked about the most painful move he had to endure in the WWE, and the answer was surprisingly The Undertaker’s Last Ride. Angle went on to give the reason for his choice, He said:

“The Last Ride. It’s like getting shot in the chest. Undertaker is 7 feet tall…when he lifts you over his head, you’re 8 feet in the air. It’s a long ride down to the canvas.”

The Olympic gold medallist has truly had an enriching career with the WWE so far and is looking to make it count with his second stint with the company.

Angle facing off against either one of Styles or Bryan is a treat for the fans, Angle developed a brilliant chemistry with Styles during their time in TNA and will hope to get a chance to perform together at least once in the WWE ring.
