Lebron James Agent : How Rich Paul Became Lebron’s Agent, Whats his Salary?
Lebron James Agent : Rich Paul hit the jackpot when he first met LeBron James at Akron airport. His association with LeBron has been the basis of a successful entrepreneurial career for Paul.
Rich Paul has been one of LeBron James’s closest friends over the past 20 years. The duo first met in Akron Airport when LeBron noticed Paul wearing an authentic Warren Moon jersey and complimented him. They became fast friends after that, and James asked Paul to join his inner circle with high school friends Maverick Carter and Randy Mims.
Rich Paul began working under Leon Rose, LeBron’s second agent with Creative Artists Agency, in 2006. Rose had negotiated LeBron’s contract extension, and LeBron had gotten Rich Paul onto CAA’s team. This grounding with the dominant sports agency in the USA gave Paul tons of exposure and experience.
