Anthony Davis’ impending trade away from New Orleans is creating quite a wave in the NBA circuit.

Lakers and Celtics have emerged as two realistic destinations for the Pelicans star, as Davis’ move could determine where the next big NBA dynasty lies.

Now, with the Pelicans visiting Los Angeles last night, the NBA fraternity was almost waiting for something to happen that would suggest Davis’ inclination for a move to LA.

And well, Davis and the Lakers did not quite disappoint.

A few days back LeBron had expressed interest in playing with Davis, a statement that was ridden with controversy, as players are not allowed to release statement that could lure other players to joining their team.

The Pelicans called out LeBron for his statement, but LeBron safeguarded himself by confirming that he had merely expressed ‘interest’ in playing with Davis, as he would have for any other ‘good player’ in the NBA.

LeBron avoided a major controversy involving Davis’ trade the other day, but he was in the headlines last night once again, as according to Yahoo Sports he had dinner with Davis in LA last night.

Now, LeBron’s interaction with Davis did not quite end there, as he was also involved in an Instagram conversation with Davis and his Lakers teammates, one where all of the players involved were taking a dig at Davis in a way that signalled to the world that all of them were pretty comfortable in each other’s company.

The post was actually put up by Kyle Kuzma, one where he dunked over Anthony Davis, with Davis merely looking at him and not making an attempt to block him.

Anthony Davis came up with a reply for this, saying ‘I ain’t jump for real’.

Ingram came up with a reply on the post saying that it was a ‘weak’ caption, with James replying that it was ‘super weak’.

Anthony Davis has responded to all the speculation around his move by confirming that he would be choosing ‘legacy over money’.

“I want to have a legacy. All my people that look up to me, the younger kids, I want them to know about AD’s legacy. Championships, the things I do in the community, being a good teammate, playing hard.” Davis said.

“All that stuff matters the most to me. Don’t get me wrong, money is amazing. But I think in that sense, money or legacy, I think my legacy will win that battle every time.” Davis said.” he added.

Do you think Davis will land up at the Lakers?
