Barcelona is playing against Real Valladolid in the 11th game-week of La Liga. The Catalans dominated the game after constantly finding the net. Amidst all of this, Messi once again has drawn headlines as the Argentine International scored his 50th freekick goal.

Just like every time, Messi has been phenomenal once again, and his 50th freekick goal was nothing short of charm. The 32-year-old scored a 35-yard-long sublime kick that went directly into the net.

It was in the 34th minute of the game when Messi stepped up to take the spot-kick, it was at the ideal distance and angle for Messi, as the Catalan superstar has been converting freekicks mostly from those areas, since it allows his left leg to have a clear hit.

It was indeed a work of art by Messi, a lovely curl from the left foot, and the ball goes into the top right corner making it 3-1 before the half-time.

Meanwhile, Barcelona has been able to make it 5-1, as Clement Lenglet scored the opener. Later, Barcelona conceded an equalizer by Kiko in the 15th minute, but it was a strike by Arturo Vidal, which brought Barcelona’s lead back in the game by 29th minute.

Further, another goal by Messi and 5th goal by Luis Suarez gives a beating to Real Vallodolid and making Barcelona comfortable in the fial phase of the game.

With this Barcelona are able to maintain their momentum in the league, even though they have slipped beneath Granada after their last clash against Real Madrid got rescheduled due to political turmoil in Catalonia.

Hence, now it seems that Ernesto Valverde’s side will be able to fetch 3 points by the end of the 90 minutes, as they have a comfortable lead in the game.
