Liverpool Vs Huddersfield Lineups : Liverpool’s predicted Lineup vs Huddersfield

Liverpool Vs Huddersfield Lineups: Here is how the Reds could lineup against the Terriers.

Liverpool were comfortable victors over Cardiff City in the weekend, but they would want the same continue against Huddersfield Town at Anfield on Sunday after being pushed down to the second spot by Manchester City in the league table. Manchester City’s results might not lie in Liverpool’s hands, but they could concentrate on their own games to procure all three points and turn the pressure to the Citizens.

The Reds, who were nervous during the early stages of this year have found back their old rhythm by gliding past opponents. By boasting the names of Mohamed Salah, Virgil Van Dijk, Fabinho, Sadio Mane, Alisson Becker, and Roberto Firmino, Liverpool are far ahead on paper, but the game is played on the pitch.

Games like these will be decided on the quick decision making because the visitors are already relegated and have nothing to play for. It will be the vice versa for Liverpool who have the pressure to deliver on a big occasion. Huddersfield Town manager Jan Siewart has backed up the claim that the hosts will be feeling the pressure to get all three points because the visitors are playing for their pride.

The head-to-head statistics suggest that Liverpool are clear front runners, but things could get changed dramatically on the pitch.

We shall look at the team news and predicted line ahead of this huge encounter on Friday night.

Team News

Midfielder Fabinho was quickly substituted after coming on against Cardiff City on Sunday. The Brazilian International was forced to leave the pitch after suffering a head injury, whilst Adam Lallana has missed the last five games due to muscular problems.

Lovren, who did not travel to Porto and Wales because of illness is expected to be restored in the squad.

When asked about the trio’s availability for the meeting with the Terriers on Thursday, Klopp said: “All a bit questionable, we don’t know exactly in the moment. We will have to see today.

“We gave them all a proper rest. Dejan trained yesterday so that’s OK probably and the other two we will see.”

On Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, the boss continued: “Ox trained, all good.”

None of the Liverpool players have picked up more than four yellow cards throughout the season.

PREDICTED LINEUP

Liverpool: Alisson Becker, Joe Gomez, Dejan Lovren, Virgil Van Dijk, Andy Robertson, Jordan Henderson, Gini Wijnaldum, Naby Keita, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane.
