Man Utd News: Solksjaer worried Barcelona may snap up star player in the ongoing transfer season.
Ola Gunnar Solskjaer has had a troublesome transfer season. He’s had to deal with the tantrums of Paul Pogba, David De Gea and Romelu Lukaku; while still trying to bring in key signings at Old Trafford. There seems to be no end in sight for his problems as he risks losing another one of his players.

Victor Lindelof’s agent has announced that a “great European club” are interested in signing the Manchester United centre-back in this summer’s transfer window. Lindelof was one of the very few bright spots in a disastrous season for United. He managed to establish himself as the defensive mainstay of the team while his partners often rotated.
Barcelona calling
“Lindelof is on the radar of a great European club,” Cetinkaya told Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo. “But leaving United depends on the English club.”
This great club in question is Barcelona in all probability. Having been snubbed by Matthijs de Ligt earlier, they are still on the look for a centre back. The Catalans had reportedly earmarked Lindelof as de Ligt’s replacement.
This could all just be arm twisting tactics employed by football agents these days. One that assures wage increases for their players; and inadvertently fills their own pockets. Regardless. Solskjaer and United will not let go of Victor Lindelof, not after the breakthrough season he just he had.
They will hope that by the end of the transfer season they will have a formidable back four of Lindelof, Maguire, Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw. With De Gea having reportedly agreed to a new 5-year contract, that will be a very difficult defense to breach.
