Manchester City Vs Leicester: Here are some of the Twitter reactions of Manchester City beating Leicester City 1-0.
Manchester City found a way to beat resilient Leicester City defence to beat them 1-0 and move an inch closer. With that victory, the Citizens move closer to second consecutive Premier League trophy as they face Brighton and Hove Albion away from home on the final day of the Premier League.
It was a very tough first half where chances were a premium and Leicester City totally frustrated the hosts by sitting back with the defence. Kun Aguero came the closest when he hit the crossbar through a header. The Argentine header was ferociously struck, but Kasper Schmeichel got a fingertip to save the Foxes life.
The story repeated the same for the first 25 minutes of the second half. Manchester City Skipper Vincent Kompany decided to take a shot from outside the box when the defenders failed to close the space. The Belgian International struck with total conviction and venom to slot the ball past the shot-stopper. For the rest of the game, City defender well and their former striker Kelechi Iheanacho failed to find the back of the net from close range to hand Manchester City’s 13th win on a trot.
Manchester City will face Brighton and Hove Albion at Amex Stadium, whilst Liverpool will take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield.
Here are some of the Twitter reactions between Manchester City and Leicester City.
Manchester City have won 13 straight league games. Out of their last 18 league games, they’ve dropped points in one match (Newcastle).
People will say Liverpool bottled a 7-point lead from Christmas, but it’s just impossible to keep up with that kind of form.

Manchester City are one win away from retaining the Premier League title.
Vincent Kompany scored a belter to give them all three points tonight.

Dear Liverpool fans,
Did you really think a former Manchester City player will hand you the league title? I don’t blame him here. #MCILEIpic.twitter.com/TRmHoYpGqp

Should Manchester City beat Brighton at the AMEX stadium on Sunday, they will be the first team to lift the Premier League title away from their own stadium since Manchester United in the 2007/2008 season where they secured the title with a 2-0 win away at Wigan Athletic. pic.twitter.com/aDtDBrExEi
