‘Woken’ Matt Hardy wins the Andre the Giant Battle Royal – 6.5/10
Not many people were expecting a brilliant match here, but the result was certainly a surprise for everyone.
Matt Hardy’s win was a major surprise in itself, but the fact that Bray Wyatt helped him has definitely made things very interesting for the next few weeks.
Cedric Alexander wins the Cruiserweight Tournament – 7/10
Cedric picked up a highly emotional victory in the finals of the Cruiserweight tournament to realize a dream of a lifetime. The quality of the match was also great, and was a good addition to the card.

For the second straight Wrestlemania, Naomi picked up a huge win as the athletic superstar won the Women’s Battle Royal. One wonders what the future holds for one of the most reliable performers in the women’s division.
Seth Rollins wins the IC title and becomes a Grand Slam champion – 8/10
These three highly accomplished competitors put on a wonderful match to kick off the show, as the number of near falls meant that the crowd were well into this match.
Rollins’ winning the belt was a great result as well, as the new Grand Slam champion should now look to build on this momentum and propel himself back into the main event picture.
Charlotte Falir breaks the streak and retains the title – 8.5/10
In what is probably the greatest women’s match in Wrestlemaina history, Charlotte and Asuka tore the house down at the Superdome.
The decision to break Asuka’s streak was questionable, but there was no doubt that both women put on a classic, with their warm embrace at the end just the icing on a perfect cake.
Jinder Mahal surprises one and all by winning the US title – 6.5/10
Mahal gets another title, this time at the biggest pay per view of the year.
With everyone expecting Rusev to win the US title, it was a surprise to see Mahal get his hand raised at the end of the show.
Ronda Rousey tears the house down at Wrestlemania – 8/10
This match exceeded everyone’s expectations, as Ronda made an outstanding debut in front of a jam packed Superdome. All three workers did their job, but it was Ronda who showed incredible promise for her first ever match in a WWE ring.
The company should pat themselves on their back for this, as Ronda looked like a million bucks and opens up a lot of opportunities in the future.
The Bludgeon Brothers win the tag team titles – 5/10
The match hardly lasted much, but it was good to see the Bludgeon Brothers pick up the win. With so much tag team talent in the roster right now, there are a lot of options for the Brothers to face.
The Undertaker returns and destroys John Cena – 7/10
Taker had to return, and return he did as the Deadman came back to a thunderous ovation. The crowd was not fooled by Elias’ entry, as everyone knew that Undertaker had to face Cena.
While it was not the match that anyone expected, it was a wonderful moment and the joy of seeing Taker pull out some of his vintage moves was one of the best moments of the night.
Daniel Bryan makes a triumphant return – 7/10
In another great Wrestlemania moment, Daniel Bryan made a heroic return in-ring return, as the emotion of the occasion was clearly seen on Bryan’s face.
While this was a decent match, everyone will now wonder what’s next for the people’s champion.
Nia Jax destroys Alexa Bliss for the title – 5/10
This was pretty much what it was supposed to be, as the powerful Nia was just too much for Alexa. While the champion did fight back, in the end the correct person went over at Wrestlemania 34.
Nakamura turns heel after Styles wins a classic – 8.5/10
While it was not the five star master piece that many envisioned, Styles and Nakamura had a brilliant match that pleased the fans.
But it was Nakamura’s heel turn after the match that really got people talking, as this will be a very interesting angle to work with on SmackDown. Wonder how Styles will react to that low blow from the Japanese star.
Strauman and Nicolas win the tag team titles – 5/10
Bruan Strauman literally found a tag team partner from the crowd, as a young kid called Nicolas now has the distinction of being a tag team champion in WWE.
Lesnar retains after beating a bloodied Reigns – 6.5/10
